In 1958 Acrow Canada Limited and the Richmond Screw Anchor Company Inc. formed a new Canadian company, Acrow Richmond, in Toronto, Ontario to manufacture high quality form hardware and accessories.
National Concrete Accessories (NCA) was founded in Edmonton, Alberta. The company soon became the leader in Western Canada supplying quality products and superior customer service to the concrete market.
NCA opened its second branch in Calgary, Alberta.
The third NCA branch opened in Burnaby to service Vancouver, British Columbia.
NCA expanded to the Saskatoon market in Saskatchewan.
National Concrete Accessories and Acrow Richmond merged as National Concrete Accessories, establishing Canada’s first national concrete products distributor.
We open our branch in Montreal to service the Quebec and Maritime Provinces.
NCA acquired operations in Kamloops and Victoria, British Columbia from Universal Fastening and Concrete Accessories.
Our Kelowna, British Columbia branch opened up for business.
We acquired our Winnipeg, Manitoba branch from G.D. Johnson, giving NCA locations in all provinces between B.C. and Quebec.
NCA acquired Braycor in Ottawa, Ontario and opened our Regina, Saskatchewan branch.
Prince George, British Columbia branch opened.
NCA acquired D. Wayne Wiegand Sales in Cambridge, Ontario expanding our reach into Southwest Ontario
We acquired Northland Construction Supplies – a 5 branch operation based in Alberta, spanning from Fort McMurray in the north, to Lethbridge in the south.
We opened our Langley, British Columbia branch. Our second in the Vancouver area.
We merged our 7 Alberta locations under one new brand - NCA Northland. The new branding will unite Northland Construction Supplies and National Concrete Accessories.
We moved our Kelowna Branch to a brand-new location featuring our Everything Ceramic Showroom.
We opened a branch in Whitby, ON allowing us to serve eastern Ontario better.
We consolidated our Edmonton and Calgary branches into two centralized locations.
We then moved our Calgary branch into a larger and more accessible location.
We now have 16 branches across the country.
We moved our Edmonton branch and Distribution Center to a bigger and better location.
We introduced our on-site van in Toronto and the GTA allowing us to serve customers better with our “mobile branch” approach.
